Homemade protein shakes are a great way to quickly replenish your muscles with all the needed proteins before and/or after a workout. They take less than 5 minutes to make and are super delicious!

A tip to make protein shakes even quicker, is to freeze chopped fruits in vacuum bags, or get your recipes ready in a mason jar so that they are ready to just be popped into a blender any time you feel for a shake.

1. Avocado and Banana Protein Shake

  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ avocado
  • 1 cup milk or almond milk
  • ½ cup low-fat natural Greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop Protein powder
  • 1 tsp Chia seeds
  • Ice as needed
  • A scoop of almond butter (optional)
  • A handful of spinach (optional)

Simply blend all the ingredients together in a blender and drink right away!

  • 1 cup almond or coconut milk
  • 1 scoop Whey chocolate Protein powder
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Ice as needed
